වැටුණම රිදෙනවද

No. It did not hurt
When I fell, the ground beneath me
Became like marshmallows.
Ground is such
Adores free falling;
Waits for the iron made hearts to heat up, melt
Then cool off to heart’s shape.
So when you ask if it hurt when I fell
I say “shape.”
When I fell it did not hurt
The ground becomes the nest for the falling ones
Since no one falls beyond ground
“ahasin polowata. polewen kohetada?”
No. it did not hurt
I fell softly.
